Q: Do I need to bring towels?
A: No, bath towels are provided. However, if you plan on swimming at the lake, you must bring your own beach towels.

Q: Do we have to bring pots and pans?
A: No, the kitchen is fully equipped including basic spices.

Q: How many pillows are there on each bed?
A: There are 4 pillows on the Queen size beds, 2 each on the trundles.

Q: Are there enough outdoor chairs for all of us?
A: Yes, outdoor chairs are available and extras are on hand

Q: Do you have sports channels on your cable programing?
A: Yes, sports channels are part of the cable package. There are New England sports, subject to blackout rules.

Q: Is there cell phone service?
A: It depends on your carrier and exact location, but this is a remote location, so it is not very reliable. There is a free long distance land line available to you in your quarters.

Q: What sort of wild animals might we see?
A: Many species of birds, including Bald Eagles in February-March. Deer may wander through occassionally.

Q: Where's the nearest, pharmacy, hospital, take-out, deli, sushi, Starbucks, McDonalds...
A: Pharmacy is 15 minutes away, nearest hospital is 10 minutes, take out food is available within walking distance as well as 10 minutes away, deli is within walking distance, sushi is 10 minutes away, Starbucks and McDonald's as well as a few department, and larger grocery stores are located 30 minutes away.

Q: Are there activities for the children nearby?
A: Action Wildlife Zoo is located 15 minutes away, Kent Falls offers family swimming and the town lake is available for swimming as well. Twin Lakes is 20 minutes away offering boat rentals for the day at OHara's Landing. In the Winter, Mohawk Ski Area is a 5 minute drive for family skiing. Snowshoeing is popular in area trails and parks
